Every regulated cannabis product in Michigan is tested by a licensed safety compliance facility. The results are summarized in a Certificate of Analysis (COA). Here's what to look for:
Check that the batch or package ID on the COA matches the label on your product.
Shows amounts of THCa, THC, CBD and others, often as a percentage or mg/g.
If tested, lists aromatic compounds such as limonene or myrcene.
Pass/fail results for contaminants such as residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals and microbials.
